Discover the Power of Ibogaine Treatments
The Amazing Secret of Ibogaine Treatments RevealedIbogaine Treatments have been around for many years. They are used to treat opiate addictions such as heroin and Oxycontin addiction, cocaine addiction, methamphetime addiction and other drug addictions. An episode of Law and Order featured Ibogaine's anti -addictive properties and led to a rise in internet searches for ibogaine. Many people wonder... “what are Ibogaine Treatments? How exactly does Ibogaine work? Is it safe? Will it help me or a loved one who is dealing with addiction?”
What Are Ibogaine Treatments?Ibogaine Treatments are given at detox clinics around the world that treat various mental conditions and addictions. They use Ibogaine which comes from a root bark that is found in a plant native to Africa. Ibogaine treatments have helped people dealing with chronic depression due to repressed traumatic events, but the most conclusive research has been done in the area addiction. Ibogaine Treatment Centers often can boast a more than 60-80%% success rate as compared to the normal 1-4% success rate of traditional drug rehabs. The problem with these statistics is they consider a person staying clean for 6 months a success. Whereas a 60% success rate for 6 months is amazing especially with Oxycontin, most Ibogaine treatments fall short on promoting quality aftercare and set the patient up for failure after six months. We are one of the few ibogaine treatment centers that requires an aftercare program when the patients return home. We will work with you to find the best programs in your community, and strongly encourage you to avoid all contact with any environmental triggers or acquaintances that encourage your addiction or indirectly by adding stress. Because Ibogaine is has been declared a schedule I drug due to being a hallucinogen, Ibogaine Treatment Centers may not operate in the US, and American addicts must travel to legally receive Ibogaine treatments.
How Does Ibogaine Work? When a patient gets to the detox clinic there is sometimes a period of waiting for pre-withdrawal symptoms. At the first sign of withdrawal a small dose is given to check for any allergic reactions or drug interactions.***WARNING: You must be honest with your provider as to what medication or drugs you are taking as well as the time and amount of your last dose. Drug interactions are VERY dangerous.*** After a short period of time the correct dose of ibogaine based on se veral factors such as metabolism and weight is given. As the Ibogaine breaks down in the liver it becomes nor-ibogaine and begins to block withdrawal. The medicine works on the dopa-mine receptors in the brain that trigger both cravings and withdrawals. For the next 48 hours the patient experiences no opiate withdrawal symptoms at all while the body detoxes and flushes the narcotics out of your system. The ibogaine continues to block cravings for about 6 months after t he ibogaine treatments allowing the drug addict time to start over. Clinical trials have been limited in the United States due to the legal status, but one study about the affect of ibogaine in cases of heroin addiction led by Dr. Debora Nash in the 1990′s was very promising before it was shut down. Other European and Central American finding have been fairly consistent with the anecdotal evidence from Ibogaine treatment centers and agree that ibogaine gives the patient about 6 months to create good habits. It is believed that the psycho-therapeutic value of the medicine is underestimated. Patients usually report a period of “lucid dreams”, where they are able to view significant, often repressed events in their life, as if they are watching a movie. By realizing these issues are in the subconscious and bringing them out., they are able to either let them go or use the knowledge to help with counseling during aftercare. We are one of the only Ibogaine Treatment Centers to have a licensed Medical Doctor on site to create, monitor and supervise the patients’ treatment. We also have a licensed Psychologist that will help plan the aftercare and will help the patient deal with any repressed trauma that may surface during treatment.
Are Ibogaine Treatments Safe?A big question many folks have is, “Is Ibogaine safe?” The honest answer is, “It really depends”. People with certain heart and liver conditions should not use Ibogaine under any circumstances. Excessively thin or excessively overweight people could have issues with treatment. Yet, most patients report no significant negative side effects. That being said it is important that the patient undergo a medical screening prior to treatment. Most Ibogaine treatment centers require an EKG and a liver panel before treatment. Avoid ibogaine treatments that do not.
WARNING!: Many ibogaine centers require an EKG and Liver panel only for appearance sake, and do not have medical staff review the results. Before going to any ibogaine treatment center ask the provider to send a copy of the medical license. Then follow up to make sure they were not fabricated.
As stated earlier, our facility for Ibogaine Treatments is one of the only Ibogaine Treatment Centers with a MD on site that is involved in all aspects of the treatment.
